After losing to Anderson Silva for the UFC middleweight title, Vitor Belfort return to the victories with a quick knockout win over Yoshihiro Akiyama, and he’s hungry for more. In an exclusive interview to TATAME Magazine’s September edition (#187), “the Phenom” talked about his career, UFC returning to Brazil and, among other things, said he’s open to fight Chael Sonnen when the right time comes.
“I do want (to fight him), I’d really love to fight him, even more because of the crap he’s talked about Brazil. Actually I don t to give him this type of attention, I don’t know why everybody keep paying attention to what this guy says,” Vitor said. “His time will come, and when it comes, brother, it’s just do the job the way I’d do against any other opponent”.
He added that Sonnen has no accomplishments in his career, despite being the WEC middleweight champion. “Who’s Sonnen? He never done anything, his fights never sells, he doesn’t knock anybody out, he just brings the trash talk show. If he wants to talk, go do another thing”.
Let the trash-talk begin. |
