Sakara: “a draw would not be too bad”

After won a second consecutive time in the UFC upon Thales Leites, Alessio Sakara chatted with TATAME about the fight. He was Happy with his performance, enough to lead to victory in the split decision. "I made sure that the strategy worked with my team, everything went right. Everybody knows that the talent of Thales. I did my job", said Sakara, commenting on the controversial decision.

 

"My job is to fight and at the fight, I'm on adrenaline. The fight was very balanced, I think a draw would not be too bad", recognizes the American Top Team fighter. "This fight was, for me, an important test to show myself that I can do what my master speaks. Independent of the result, I am happy because my friends and Conan liked my fight".

 

Without knowing when to back octagon, Sakara only looks Conan Silveira in his corner. "I am working hard to fight the best I can. I would like to thank Conan Silveira, Libório, Wilson Gouveia, the rest of ATT, and I can say that when my master Conan stay in my corner I will give a show. He is my peace and my strength in time of war", says Sakarā, waiting to return on the end of the year.

 

After the victory, Alessio has closely followed the impressive victory for Anderson Silva, winner of his category on his event that increased the weight and humbled Forrest Griffin. "Anderson has shown once again that  He is in another level", praises Sakarā, reiterating that Anderson is not unbeatable, but recognizing that the fighter is on another level. Fight is fight, but now only a stroke of luck can win the Anderson", ended.
